NEW ADI 7010 TOC On-Line Analyzer

NEW ADI 7010 TOC On-Line Analyzer

Continuous monitoring of Total Organic Carbon
Organic matter is nearly always present in water, whether it is surface water, raw or treated water for drinking, feed and cooling water in manufacturing processes, or run-off or wastewater being discharged to the environment or to a waste treatment plant for further purification.
Given the presence of organics in water and many industrial processes, it is no surprise that the measurement and control of organics is more and more required. Total Organic Carbon (TOC) methods determine the sum of all organically bound carbon in a water stream and therefore a measure of organic loading or pollution and can be used as a non-specific indicator of water quality.
Application of Total Organic Carbon
By monitoring TOC during their processes many industries are able to save costs, by confirming a process is optimised and operating efficiently. Monitoring TOC also helps ensure wastewater is treated correctly, meeting consent requirements before discharge to the environment or meeting organic load limits for discharge to municipal treatment plants.
TOC monitoring is applied in many industries like: Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Food & beverage, Automotive, Oil & gas, Power & energy, Petrochemical, Pulp & paper, Airports and Environmental monitoring.
Sample types: Waste water, Drinking water, Surface water, Process control, Boiler feed water/condensate, Cooling water, Run-off/storm water
Reliable on-line TOC measurements
The ADI 7010 TOC Analyzer measures Total Organic Carbon in liquid samples using the method of UV persulfate oxidation with carbon dioxide detection by non-dispersive infrared. The analyzer can measure TOC in liquid samples ranging from 0-5 mg/L up to 0-50,000 mg/L and conforms to EPA, DIN, CE, ASTM, NAMUR regulations and meets European ISO/CEN guidelines.
Features:
  • Dual separated compartment enclosure, protecting the electronics and infrared detector from the wet part.
  • Valve free sample line avoids the risk of blocked valves.
  • Optional Fast Loop Reservoir prevents the loss of sample which can result to errors and also eliminates air bubbles passing into the analyzer.
  • Digital flowmeter : The carrier gas flow is controlled digitally, unlike traditional analyzers where the flow is controlled by a glass tube rotameter. The flow is monitored and in case of abnormal values, the analyzer stops automatically and displays a fault alarm “gas reactor fail”.
  • Integrated air purification. An internal air compressor produces the carrier gas. The air is purified and there is no need for external air treatment and compressed air supply.
  • ZEROGAS is checked automatically and alarms can be set in case of high values.
  • Auto-clean. This function uses a dedicated pump and cleans the liquid line of the analyzer, the sample line and the external reservoir.
  • Separated stripping and carrier gas line, each with their own compressor. The carrier gas line is automatically controlled by a digital flowmeter.
Full control through a simple interface

The user interface is a touchscreen located on the front panel of the analyzer. All output/input data, status information, alarms and fault conditions are shown. Simply pressing the touchscreen buttons gives access to commands and settings. Access to set-up and timings are protected by a password.
