Data about the supply and availability of Urea in the country

      For the Rabi crop 2014-15, the all-India requirement of Urea for January, 2015 was assessed as 2941.54 thousand Metric tonnes. Against this, there was a supply plan of 2959.20 thousand Metric tonnes in the country. Total despatches in the month of January were 2960.40 thousand Metric tonnes. The availability of Urea, including the opening stock as on 31.01.2015, was 3234.33 thousand Metric tonnes. The State wise break-up is given in the Annexure.
