First Aid & CPR Awareness

 First Aid & CPR Awareness

Every second counts in an emergency.

Knowing First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) can make the difference between life and death. Immediate and correct action before professional medical help arrives can save lives, reduce injuries, and prevent complications.

Key First Aid Principles

Ensure the scene is safe.

Check the casualty's response.

Call emergency medical services immediately.

Control severe bleeding.

Treat burns with cool running water.

Immobilize suspected fractures.

Never move an injured person unless they are in immediate danger.

CPR - Remember the Basics:

Check responsiveness and breathing.

Call for emergency help.

Begin high-quality chest compressions.

❤Perform 30 compressions followed by 2 rescue breaths (if trained).

Continue CPR until the person recovers or medical professionals take over.

Safety is not just about following rules-it is about being prepared to protect lives. Every employee should receive basic First Aid and CPR training because an emergency can happen anytime, anywhere.

Be Prepared. Stay Calm. Act Fast. Save Lives.
