The plant will be based on the state-of-the-art Stami Green Ammonia technology and is expected to start up in 2026, producing green ammonia to be used as feedstock for nitrogen-based fertilizers.

Stami Green Ammonia enables environmentally friendly ammonia production by deriving nitrogen from the air and using hydrogen obtained by water electrolysis instead of the steam reforming of fossil fuels.
