 The ISO 16602:2007 standard establishes minimum performance requirements for chemical protective clothing. This includes suits, coveralls, jackets, and other clothing. 

Features of ISO 16602:2007 

Specifies minimum performance and labeling requirements for chemical protective clothing

Covers suits, coveralls, jackets, trousers, and other clothing

Does not address protection against solid chemicals, biological hazards, or ionizing radiation

Chemical protective clothing for ammonia

For ammonia levels up to 10,000 PPM, the CDC recommends a chemical permeability protection ensemble and a self-contained breathing apparatus 

For ammonia levels above 25 ppm, an APR with full-facepiece and cartridges is recommended 

For ammonia levels above 250 ppm, supplied air is recommended 

For ammonia levels above 300 ppm, a SCBA is recommended 

Other standards

ISO 13982-1 addresses chemical protective clothing for airborne particles 

CEN CPC standards refer to six basic types of protective clothing against chemicals
