Fire & Gas Detection and Alarm system

The early detection and signaling of a fire condition or a
potentially hazardous situation is of utmost necessity in being able to fight
the fire effectively.
There are five basic types of detecting sensors with alarm,
which are applied in the complex
Ø Flame detection
Ø Heat detection
Ø Smoke detection
Ø Flammable gas detection
Ø Toxic gas detection (Fixed & Mobile) , LEL Detectors
In addition to these sensors, manual call pints will be
installed at appropriate locations throughout the site, so that operating and
/or maintenance personnel can provide an early warning of fire or gas. Fire alarm points shall be provided at
suitable locations like access point, approach roads, walkways etc. to cover
the critical areas with a control panel in the fire station control room.
