When we look at the future, the environmental governance is increasingly emerging as a key global challenge for our business sustainability. Adopting sustainable technologies, addressing the conundrum around technology and cost will be vital. The company’s ability to create long term value will decide, based on its board’s strategy, on sustainability i.e. climate change, biodiversity and pricing of natural capital.
Golden Peacock Awards, instituted by the Institute of Directors (IOD), India completes 30 glorious years, which is now regarded as hallmark of Corporate Excellence, both locally and globally. This is largely due to its robust transparent evaluation process and determination of clear criteria. No award has achieved such respectability as the Golden Peacock, which today receives around 1000 applications a year for various categories.

Over the years, the Golden Peacock Award Excellence Model and Certification exercise, based on its internationally recognized Self-Assessment criteria, has helped Industries to think, strategise, assess, march ahead and prepare for the rapidly changing future of work, education, and the economy. Its earnest desire has been and is to recognise the achievements of well performing organizations, in each respective business sector.
Currently, Golden Peacock Awards Secretariat is inviting applications for the following annual Institutional Awards, from Corporates/Industries, including multinationals, SMEs, Public, Private and Government Enterprises:
1. Golden Peacock ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT Award (GPEMA)
2. Golden Peacock OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY Award (GPOHSA)
3. Golden Peacock ECO-INNOVATION Award (GPEIA)
4. Golden Peacock Award for ENERGY EFFICIENCY (GPAEE)

The last date for submission of completed applications of the above Award and Application Fee is April 30, 2023.
