Site supervisor's daily duties in construction involve overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring work follows plans, budgets, and schedules, while prioritizing safety and quality. 

Tasks include ;

*managing labor and subcontractors

* coordinating materials

*conducting daily inspections

* enforcing safety protocols (PPE, procedures)

* preparing reports

*communicating with project managers and engineers to resolve issues 

*keep the project moving smoothly. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Health & Safety

 Enforce safety rules, PPE use, conduct toolbox talks, report incidents, and maintain a safe environment.

2. Quality Control

 Inspect work against blueprints, standards, and specifications, ensuring high-quality execution.

3. Coordination & Supervision

 Guide and manage workers, allocate tasks, coordinate with subcontractors, and liaise with engineers/managers.

4. Planning & Scheduling

 Organize daily work, manage material deliveries, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.

5. Documentation

 Complete daily site reports, progress logs, and maintain records for managers. 

TYPICAL DAILY ACTIVITIES 

>Morning site walk to assess conditions and plan tasks.

>Conducting safety briefings (Toolbox Talks).

>Checking material deliveries and managing inventory.

>Inspecting ongoing work for quality and adherence to plans.

>Resolving site issues, conflicts, or technical problems.
