Hands are the basis of work, daily life and caring for your loved ones. However, it is one of the most-injured body parts in the work environment. Each year, thousands of preventable injuries occur — ranging from minor wounds to spurs.


🔷 Why is hand safety important?

• The basis of work and life: Hands enable you to be productive and independent.

• Increasing injury rates: Hand injuries account for a large proportion of work accidents.

• Impact on productivity: Even minor injuries cause work stoppage, increased medical costs and decreased efficiency.

• Permanent consequences: Severe injuries can result in long-term disability that affects professional and personal life together.

🔺 Common causes of hand injuries

• Touch of moving instruments

• Sharp Material

• Jamming Points

• Exposure to chemicals

• improper use of tools

• Cut resistant gloves: for sharp tools and metal works

• Heat resistant gloves: for welding and hot surfaces

• Chemical resistant gloves: for soluble substances and cleaning processes

• Use the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Wear the appropriate glove to work
