About Two Million Evacuated in China due to Haikui Typhoon
More than 1,800, 000 people were evacuated in Zhejiang Province and Shanghai Municipality of Haikui due to Haikui typhoon, which hit land today in the first of these territories, information says.

The National Commission for Disaster Mitigation and the Ministry of Civil Affairs started an emergency response after sending personnel to the area for aids to face the cyclone.
There are 1, 500, 000 evacuated people in Zhejiang and 374, 000 in Shanghai.
Haikui hit mainland shortly after 03.00 local time (19:00 GMT Tuesday) by the town of Hepu, in Xiangshan district, near the Gulf of Sanmenwan, with winds of 150 km/h. Rains caused flooding.
According to forecasts this organism will move to Anhui, neighboring province of Zhejiang.
This is the third typhoon hitting the eastern coast of China in a week. Saola and Damrey did it before and they tolled 23 dead among other consequences.
