The Greenko Group's Integrated Management System (GIMS) - EHS Monthly Information System (MIS) for solar plants is a comprehensive reporting structure designed to monitor compliance with ISO 45001:2018 (Safety), ISO 14001:2015 (Environment), and other standard.
The monthly EHS report covers the following key areas:
1. Training & Personnel Management
Safety Training: Records of safety induction, technical training, behavior-based safety sessions, and specialized training (e.g., work at height, first aid).
Safety Observation Tour (SOT): Documented walk-down inspections conducted by management to identify unsafe acts or conditions.
Attendance & Headcount: Monthly attendance records of workers, including contractors, to ensure adequate safety supervision.
2. Safety Committee & Emergency Management
Safety Committee Meetings: Minutes of monthly meetings held to discuss safety performance, incidents, and improvement plans.
Mock Drills: Records of emergency response drills conducted to test the Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plan (ERDMP).
Emergency Equipment: Inspection and maintenance status of safety equipment (fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, eye wash stations).
3. Hazard & Incident Management
Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA): Ongoing, systematic identification of potential risks.
Near Miss Reporting: Documentation of "near-miss" incidents to prevent future accidents.
Incident Investigation: Detailed analysis of any recorded incidents, accidents, or injuries.
4. Workplace Inspection & Electrical Safety
Workplace Inspections: Regular walkthroughs of the site to check for housekeeping, signage, and hazards.
Electrical Installation Safety: Inspection of electrical panels, transformers, inverters, and cabling for damage or leakage, often using thermal imaging.
HT Rubber Gloves & PPE: Inspection, testing, and compliance records for PPE, specifically high-tension (HT) rubber gloves used in maintenance.
5. Environmental Monitoring
Parameters Checked: Monthly monitoring of noise levels, ambient air quality, and water quality in line with CPCB guidelines.
Environmental Factors: Monitoring of temperature, humidity, and illumination (lighting) in critical areas like SCADA rooms or inverter rooms.
6. Safety Checklist of Equipment
Site Equipment Checklist: Documented inspections of inverters, transformers, and tracking systems (if applicable) for safe, optimal operation.
Asset Performance: Digital monitoring of solar PV modules and infrastructure.
These monthly reports are used to maintain a "zero-fatality" goal and ensure that all operational sites comply with legal and environmental standards.
