Dust Hazards (Short Description)
Dust hazards are airborne particles generated during activities such as cutting, grinding, drilling, sanding, and material handling. When inhaled, dust can cause health problems such as eye irritation, coughing, breathing difficulties, asthma, and lung diseases. Excessive dust can also reduce visibility, create unsafe working conditions, and in some cases cause dust explosions. Proper dust control measures, good housekeeping, ventilation, and the use of appropriate PPE are essential to protect workers and maintain a safe workplace.
