Dear sir,
Very good evening as per We are continously giving awareness to associates , under the visionary guidance of Shri SKB Valli Sir , Sidda sir and Saroj sir from 4th to 14 th March and going on accordingly
National Safety Day/Week initiatives are designed to foster a culture of prevention, enhance emergency preparedness, and ensure workplace compliance through structured engagement. These activities collectively aim to achieve "zero harm" by educating personnel on specific hazards, validating safety procedures, and reinforcing accountability.
Core Initiatives and Their Significance
Electrical Safety Training (AC/DC): Distinguishes hazards between high-voltage AC and stored-energy DC systems. It teaches correct isolation, grounding, and PPE usage to prevent electrocution and arc flashes.
Safety Quiz (Procedures & H&S Plan): Tests knowledge of organizational Health & Safety (H&S) plans and industry standards (e.g., NFPA 70E), ensuring employees understand their specific roles in emergencies.
Safety Exhibitions (Electrical & Fire): Provide visual, hands-on demonstrations of faulty wiring, proper equipment, and fire suppression tools, making complex safety concepts accessible to all.
Mock Drill (Electrical Shock): Simulates emergency response to an electrical incident. It is critical for practicing rapid de-energization, safe rescue techniques, and immediate first-aid application.
Plant Ranking System Training: Educates staff on how facilities are categorized by risk level, helping prioritize safety resources and inspections where they are needed most.
HIRA Workshop: Trains teams in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA). It is the foundational process for proactively mitigating workplace accidents before they occur.
Tool Box Talks: Short, daily briefings that address specific, immediate task-related hazards to keep safety awareness at the forefront of every shift.
Fire Drill (Fire Tankers): Validates the efficacy of fire-fighting infrastructure and the coordination between internal emergency teams and external fire services. It ensures that equipment (like fire tankers) is operational and that personnel can execute evacuation plans under pressure.
