Kanpur - Since we were
already outside in the park after the first quake, the effect of this
one was less. I could still feel the tremors beneath my feet as it
lasted for less than 10 seconds

Kathmandu - Very strong shaking of about one min felt in kathmandu
bhaktapur - Severe shaking .. several cracks occurred on the floors
Chitwan National Park - No noise. But shaking of buildings and ground continued for several minutes.
Godavari Nepal - Very strong and long lasting quake with sizable damage. Around 11:55 or noon today. Now aftershocks still shaking.
pokhara - a old house has gone severe cracking in Bagar-1, Pokhara
inaruwa - i was lying at bed and suddenly it start to shake with in interval of seconds i saw wild face of earthquake.....
Jhapa - i can still feel the tremors!!
muktinath - I was in the tharpa choeling nunnery below and
the whole monastery started shaking. All the rums screamed and ran out.
So far, no real damage but it's scary.
biratnagar - i was playing futball suddenly earthquake came but we dont stop playing footb0l in fact we r feeling easy in running
Biratnagar - My bed was shaking and my
window was making sleepy noise. When i
stood up from bed,my legs were shaking

Pokhara - it was so dangerous... me and my family are still in threat.
nawalparasi - Everything were shaking. all publics run out to
the street. Nobody was feeling safe nowhere. It was the scariest
earthquake i ever felt.
kathmandu - Still shaking, terrible time....:
kathmandu - (dharara damaged..many dies approximate 200 up
to now...pokhara city totally damaged... hundreds house damaged.. its
almost 3 hours and still giving shock...
nakhipot - I was around ram department store for grocery when
I suddenly felt the fridge shaking which is placed outside the
store.Then it all happened at once the ground shook so bad that i
literally had to grab the shutter out there,the image you can relate to
is as like that of a wooden door thats floating on a sea and you step on
to that wooden door and it shakes out of imbalance.and everything
inside the fridge fell off just like that,everything on the floor.we
people of nakhipot have been now sitting
dhangadhi - oh really i was going to market but suddenly something felt shaking i find tht it was earthquake which shook for 10-15
seconds
khumaltar - i am feeling so afraid of that earthquake

Dhaka - Light shaking for almost 1.5 minutes
Dhaka - its strong shaking
Thimphu - just lasted for few sec, not so strong to damage anything..........
Dhaka - i did not see any damage. it was 12:14 pm in
Bangladesh, i am staying at the 3rd floor of an six storeyed building.
it lasted for more than a minute.
Thimphu - windowa were rattling lasted for about a minute. Frightrning experience!
Dhaka - Water in pool made small tidal wave. Fans and light fixures shook. No damages reported.
dhaka - everything was shaking
rampal, Bagerhat - chair & Table are shaking. pond water is dancing.
Dhaka - The tremors stayed for at least 1 to 1.5 minutes. Everyone was coming out of the buildings.
Dhaka - Was standing on the open road. Felt moderate shaking for about 2 mins.
Dhaka - No damage in my house
Savar, Dhaka - No damage has been occurred but strong shaking we in our factory building felt.
Dhaka - Long Duration but light rolling motion felt at 11th Floor in Tejgaon area, Dhaka City. RCC Multi Storied Office Building.
Wangdue - Felt shaking chairs & seen swaying fan and surface of water in bottle on table
Dhaka - Lasted for a minute or so
faisalabad - My office in five story building and fee light shaking
Dhaka - I was in hotel room on the 18th floor, the room shaked like a small boat on ocean. Nothing is damage.
Naogaon - We felt that our apprtment building was moving from
side to side. People from all homes in the building ran out. The water
in the pond next to the house was moving from side to side as well. The
shaking lasted for several minutes. When it calmed down, everybody went
in, but ran out again after 15-20 min when it shaked again, this time a
bit less and for a shorter time. This happened right after noon
Bangladeshi time 25.4.2015
Dhaka - I am on 4th floor - slow gentle rocking for over a
minute - I left and went to the Lobby - as ever, really crowded and
nobody else seemed aware. This is a big well-built structure and it
moved plenty.
Dhaka - I was able to feel it sitting on my bed. All fans,
chandeliers, etc. began to shake. Felt building moving when trying to
run downstairs. No damage done personally but there has been damage to
several buildings around Dhaka.
Banani,Dhaka - I feel i moving and its take a minute and
really its Shaking . but not damaged in my building ,but near to our
building have slide damaged.

Dhaka - Dhaka - was sitting in my bed with my laptop, sudden i
felt the shake vibrated my bed, as i thought that i am in giddy and
tidy.....after few seconds, the tremor again shook too strong that my
bed shaking like a baby cradle; chairs-tables, cupboard, kitchen
crockery, vases shaking; fans and ceiling lamps hanging and in outside
buildings are in cradle mode....thousands of residents rushed out of
their homes....what a nice earthquake i have ever felt....
Dhaka - I was standing behind my collegue who is working on
computer, suddenly he todld me his head is Spinning and ask me to hold
him, similiarly i was feeling the same, then i marked that our ceiling
fan is moving side by side. Actually it was so big shocked that, we
sttuned for few second. then we all left office to outside. Khasru
dhaka - Head Spinning,felt i m in swinging..inside building

Lucknow - Tables anfd chairs felt to be shaking. The whole office building was evacuated.
Kolkata - we felt the shaking on groundfloor it was stronh enough to make us run and come out
kolkata - HIMALAYAS has a tendency to shake its base plates
as its still reorganising as a mountain.but what beats me is the actual
epicentre is not supposed to send vibrations here.Har Har MAHADEV
Lucknoow - It was a terrible earthquake. Still I'm feeling
the shake in my body. I was sitting on a chair and it suddenly started
shaking.
Bareilly - Table Chair fan were shaking
kolkata - I was studying and the table started to shake

Noida - (I felt strong shaking for 3-4 minutes
Guwahati - Our office building started vibrating for 15-20 seconds, we left and reached ground floor.
Ahmedabad - Chairs in office were shaking, it was felt for almost 30 seconds.
Ahmedabad - We could see that the fan was off and it started
moving from its base. And then we felt that our chair was shaking too.
It wasn't major but we could feel the movement easily.
bahadurgarh - I am just working on my laptop, suddenly I feel
some shaking.. after 10 min. I search on internet about earthquake..
then I was confirmed that my feeling was correct
mumbai - Was sitting on the bed and could feel the tremor.
kakinada - very mild shake for about half a min
Ahmedabad - Very weak shaking
Wipro - It was quite a fearful experience for all of us as
everything started swaying all of a sudden. We were all evacuated from
our respective buildings. It was a jarring experience
delhi - it lasted about minute and a half
Kolkata - It was felt on the ground floor and was fairly strong
Bhopal - I felt the toilet seat shake underneath me, for a good minute or two. Made me panic.
Rajahmundry - we felt like having dizziness so we came out to a open space one reported that her water in the bottle was shaking
mumbai - Was sitting on the chair and felt as if I was
moving.. wondered if I was feeling dizzy.. But it happened again.. so
switched on the news channel.. confirmed it was the earthquake.
Delhi - Just felt the table and chair shaking, no damages.
Mumbai - tremor twice in difference of 10 seconds
Bhubaneswar - It was a light shake. No damages were made. Hope everything is okay out there...
New Town, Rajarhat. Kolkata - Head Spinning, Felt like falling over.
Kolkata - We felt the tremor for about 15 seconds, chairs and
fans were swaying, peoples rushed out of office and guest house. Still
all are outside fearing another wave may hit !
Jaipur - I was working on PC on second floor of an
organization.my hands was on table and I felt some vibrations in table
& lcd monitor as my hands was touched to the table.I thought I am
tired so that I felt it and ignored it.But after 15 minutes I got a msg
on whatsapp from one of my relative lives in Jaipur City asking me about
any vibrations I felt,then I became sure about the earthquake I
felt.The time was 11:45 am (GMT+5:30).

Around 12.00-12.21 IST felt a mild shake to.....could be aftershock........

were felt.first we were feeling uneasy at first.But later made us

No damage yet....Never knew it was a big earthquake until i saw it in news
Kolkata - There were massive, strong & shaky tremors. All
the ceiling fans in our office building were swinging. All the staff in
our NCSM office rushed to the open area on Ground Floor through
Staircases. It definitely will result in the loss of life &
property. A second one was felt at around 12.21IST, which equally strong
6+ magnitude.
Ranchi - We were in the office doors of almirah getting
trembling. Getting the note of earthquake we all officials rushed out of
the office
Ahmedabad - Moderate shaking of Chair but vertical blinds
shook in cabin without ventilation or air circulation. Thank God as
there is no damage.
Jamshedpur - Building was shaking made everybody to evacuate.
gurgaon - fans are shaking
Jabalpur - Here in Jabalpur earthquake Stuck for two times today. First was strong but the second was quiet normal.
Gangtok - Shaking
chandigarh - I was sleeping and the bed started moving
Varanasi - The shaking woke me up and almost continued upto
20 seconds at around 11:44 IST...the aftershake was felt once again for
3-4 seconds but was with light shaking...No damage...but chaos
varanasi - J'étais sur la terrasse au 2e étage et ça
bougeait. Je croyais que c'était le vent qui faisait bouger la maison
(il y a de forts coups de vents depuis quelques jours)et je pensais que
la maison allait s'écrouler ou que c'était moi qui avait des vertiges.
Tout le monde est sorti dans la rue. Pas de dégats.
Gwalior - it was shaking for little bit but threaten me..
Lucknow - Initially the bed started shaking n then the floor n
the walls started shaking. The tremors were felt for around 2 min.
After shock were felt about 25 min later for around 20 sec.
cuttack odisha - very light shaking not enough to destroy anything.
Delhi - Bed and laptop shaking...
durgapur - I felt my bed shaking like a rocking chair. The tremors were so powerful that I clearly viewed my Almirah making noise.
On standing on the floor to get out to a free space gave me a brain wobbling sensation.
rudrapur - haldwani - shaking for 40 secs , again started after 30 Min. aftershock for 10 sec
AHMEDABAD - ALL OFFICE STAFF RAN OUT OF BUILDING
Delhi - No damage
Bareilly - I was in mg class. Sitting on the front bench.
Suddenly fely uneasy and felt the bench was shaking with very low
frequency. But no one else was aware of it.
ahmedabad - our grind mill shaked and water fell from our neighbours house
GUWAHATI - I was in Doctors Chamber I felt the table is
unsteady and as I saw outside window I felt whole building shaking. The
Ceiling fans and shaking lightly. for 20 seconds I felt it..
Jamshedpur - No property is damaged only we felt shaking.
Kanpur - My appartment is on the 8th floor and it felt like
the building swung to and fro for a few seconds and then it started
shaking for the next 20 Seconds. No damage to property or life but the
experience was damn scary.

Mumbai - Very mild tremors. Water in glass was shaking

Kolkata - We felt it, then after sometime once again
lucknow - Felt twice with weak shaking for about 5 sec each time. Chair tables and window panes shaking. Building evacuated
gwalior - i saw my televison i.e. automatically vibrate. There is too dangerous.
Gurgaon - felt while working, table and chair started shaking
Kolkata - I have never faced such an experience regarding
earthquake. I was working in office, in 5th floor, suddenly felt a huge
shake in my chair. Firstly I thought it might be due to sudden
roundrobin occuring in myself. But suddenly felt that it's going on. I
lifted myself and found the chair is constantly shaking too much. Felt
too much headache and ran out of building. Found some hair cracks in the
glasses of 5th floor.
UP - I was sitting in my class room,suddenly at 11:45 the benches started to shaking,the process were continued about 5minutes
Guwahati - It was horrific indeed as we felt the tremors for 1
min approx shaking the building and high tension power lines clearly
visible swinging.
Bareilly - My office chair is shaking very strong i feel like
someone shaking my chair with hands it is a very bad experience.No
damage but strong shaking.
jabalpur - It shakes me n my neighbour on d bed around 11:50am
Kolkata - Was brushing and suddenly felt my head spinning but
later I realised that the water of the pond in front of my house was
shaking.
bareilly - the whole room was shaking ... it was very scary moment
Noida - Felt Twice within 30 mins. Strong shaking but no casualties
New Delhi - I was asleep and the shaking woke me up

bhopal - Chair , Water in glass, Computers & maximum of
our office staff were slightly shaking due to earthquake when we were
working at 6th floor in office.
Memari - It was prolonged . There was a aftershock after 20 minutes or so
VADODARA - I felt shaking , no damages
Bhadohi,Gopiganj - I am zee,i was sitting on the bed and
taking a sip of tea between 12 and 12;30 pm suddenly the bed was started
to vibrate i felt that it was earthquake and told to mom that get
outside simultaneously to all family member...
patna - mai apni classmet ko dekh raha tha eartquick aya mai uske uper girne wala tha tabhi eartqick ruk gaya ........

Ahmedabad - we felt the shaking on 8th floor at our office .
It was stronh enough to make us run and come out. All the staff of every
office of that building rush to the stairs. It was remarkable
experience.

ghaziabad - i was worshipping meanwhile i started to shake as
if someone is pushing me or as i m dizzing ...never seen this much lage
shaking in life it was a pretty adventurous and fearing experience
assam - while i was teaching in the classroom i had feel sudden spining my head and chair and TLM on the table are shaking. its 6+
patna - First of all I saw my fan hanging from the roof it is
just simple shaking but after some few second it is shaking like the
pin of the wall watch .it's my second feeling of my life. It's amazing
for me.
varanasi - I was doing my work and suddenly felt vibration I
thought some one is moving my bed but after few seconds it increase its
level and I felt that its an earthquake I had first experience of
earthquake it was better than I taught

it made us feel shake for a minut, and we rushed out from our houses to

AHMEDABAD - WAS WORKING ON MY COMPUTER, WHEN I FELT
VIBRATION. IT CONTINUED, THEN I REALISED THAT IT IS AN EARTHQUAKE,
THOUGH MODERATE. EVERYONE CAME DOWN OF THE BUILDING JUST FOR THE SHAKE
OF SAFETY.

Kolkata - My office is in Commerce house 5th floor. We all
felt this earthquake, all the ceiling fans were swinging. People from
all the offices in commerce ran through staircase to the outside area.
After effects was very strong.
gonda - oh my god ....when earthquake came i was lying on my
bed nd my bed was shaking so hardly i was really scolded ......i went
outside from my house nd i will come back to my house after earthquake..
Delhi - Not felt outdoors (1st tremor), mild tremors on the 2nd floor building where my office is for about 20 seconds (2nd tremor)
V V NAGAR,ANAND GUJARAT - RACK OF FILES STARTED SHAKING FOR FEW SECONDS. LUCKILY NO DAMAGE IN OUR AREA HAS BEEN REPORTED.
allahabad - we felt the shakings of earthquake today in rambagh allahabad..........
baruipara,hooghly,westbengal - I was gaming vigoursly and
within a second my chair in which I was sitting started ganing
motion.with the power of my small brain(I am only 16 now) I turned of
the main fuse of our house and came out of my room. Though no body got
hurt or any property was destroyed
Agartala - i saw the fan shaking and some tremble.
sonepur/bharpura - I went to hajipur, so all person are feel and strong shaking.but no loss any.
bhagalpur Bihar - fee earthquake 2 times 1st was at 11:43 of 40 to 50 sec and 2nd was of 12:15 of 10 to 20 sec
laxminagar newdelhi - i was in the home & felt moving
strongly I didn't knew it was earth quake thought it was due to headache
but when I check the doors it was also moving & checked out &
confirmed it was earthquake
after some time there was again shaking.
Ahmedabad - We were in the office @ 9th floor of the building
when I experienced dizziness but by the time of few seconds came to
know that it was earthquake and we all ran out of the building. This was
experienced two times. Was little bit in shock but thank god there was
no damages.
Siliguri - Extremely strong shaking but unlike the last major
quake, it was gentler. I was at City centre inox at 4th floor and the
whole building was shaking like hell. Lots of cracks observed. False
ceiling fell down inside the cinema hall.
Patna - Felt very strong shocks. Even the aftershocks at
12.15 IST was very strong and along with it rain too started. All the
vehicles in the parking were shaking. Not so much of damaged reported in
the city.
Krishnanagar nadia west Bengal - Chairs in office were shaking, it was felt for almost 30 seconds.
new delhi - We felt everything shaking in our building.
bulding was evacuated immidiately. and second time again there were
shocks..and again the building was evacuated
Kolkata - My sister and I was sitting on the bed and we were moving for a long time.No property was damaged.
Allahabad - it was only for19sec everyone in the village came
out from to make themselves safe there a Strom from last night and it
still continue till now
Jhansi - Bhaago
meerut - In between the seminar going in my college we all
feel violent shaking of chairs mikes and floor.and we were on the 6th
floor dat time so then all ran away frm there and scrambled on the
stairs to escape lives

Dehradun - No damage seen. Traffic halted temporarily. Felt 2 separate aftershocks.
Mirzapur - I am sitting in a chair.The chair is shaking
SHAHDOL - Cars, motor cycles parked on the parking lot were
started shaking around 11:40 am. It lasted for approximately 25 seconds.
Everyone came outside as glass on the windows brakes. This earthquake
gave us goosebumps and it's both magnificent and horrible experience to
witness a live earthquake.
Noida - No damage, but enough to send people outdoors into open areas.
kolkata - Strong tremor enough for disequilibrium &
vertigo for 2 mins continuously.some cracks seen in walls.second shock
after 30 mins & that was for 15 secs.
Delhi - Nothing had been damaged, as the epicentre of the Earthquake was in Nepal.
Visakhapatnam - Everything was shaking. I felt it very less but in many parts of vizag where my friends live they have experienced the worst
Bahraich - shocking
cuttack - strong feel of earthquake around 20 seconds in cuttack
jabalpur - i was scared
kanpur - Whole body was shaking. Windows, doors, crockery
rattling a bit.. Vibrations on floor and felt like whole room was

delhi - bed tv fans everthing was shaking. even the raillinga on the stairs were shaking
allahabad - First time in my life i ever experienced it. I was eating my breakfast about 11 am and the land started shaking.
lucknow - i was in school and i felt an earthquake an we rushed out
thre is no damage
Siliguri - It was shaking buildings and trees like they are
made of jelly many bulduing were damaged by internaly.Some casualties
and leaving many injured.
Kolkata - At that time i was sitting in my chair at my office
, suddenly my chair was shaken,i was shivering, my computer was shaken,
i feel a breathing problem, i was trying to go outside, nobody was
there, in the mean time, all things become quite. Then i heard from my
sister it was earth quack.
patna - i was in the wash roomwhen everything started
shaking..
i panicked..and ws si much scared that i ran outside my house seminude
and even threw my cellpone in the washroom..2hours passed and i am still
frightened cz i ahve felt after shakes a bit..

earthquake....i told all my friends and ran down in an open place....but
the shake was not that much
jamshedpur - I was sitting on the bed with my laptop when I
suddenly felt the bed shaking. I felt tremors through my body twice just
like giddiness.The tremors were strong
AZAMGARH - JUST WE HAVE FELT THAT ALL FAN AND BUILDING'S PART ARE SHAKING AND WE RAN OUT.THERE IS INJURIES......
lucknow - Was in school when first shock struct us.Whole of
the building of G.D. Goenka Public schoolstarted shaking. Emergency
evacuation of all the students was done. Was very thrilling and scary.

Bhubaneswar - Bhubaneswar - We felt the shake for more than
30 seconds. We were in Library and vibration was clearly felt in the
reading table. Thank god, no damage is done.
Varanasi - Strong vibrations could be felt...gates and all
furnitures were vibrating...weird voice could be heard due to the
vibration...overall a horrifying experience
jamshedpur - Thank God We the people of jamshedpur are safe.
