⚠️ *Understanding Risk = Hazard + Exposure* ⚠️🔥

 🔥⚠️ *Understanding Risk = Hazard + Exposure* ⚠️🔥

1. What is Risk?

Risk = Likelihood × Severity (hazard + exposure).

2. *Examples of Workplace Risks*

    - Working at height (fall risk)

    - Fuel spill (fire risk)

    - Moving machinery (crush risk)

    - Confined space (asphyxiation risk)

    - Poor housekeeping (trip risk).

3. *Risk Levels*

    - Low risk → minor injury unlikely.

    - Medium risk → possible injury.

    - High risk → serious injury or fatality possible.

4. *How to Control Risk*

    - Eliminate the hazard.

    - Substitute with a safer alternative.

    - Use engineering controls.

    - Implement administrative controls.

    - Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The slogan is “Identify the Risk Before It Identifies You.”

"Identify the risk before it identifies you! 🚧👷‍♂️ Know the difference between hazard & risk, assess workplace dangers, and control them with PPE & safety measures.
