Financial incentives: The SIGHT Programme offers financial incentives to support the production of green hydrogen and the manufacturing of electrolyzers.

Green Hydrogen Hubs: The SIGHT Programme identifies and develops regions that can support large-scale hydrogen production and utilization as Green Hydrogen Hubs.

Policy framework: The SIGHT Programme develops a policy framework to support the establishment of a green hydrogen ecosystem.

Standards and regulations: The SIGHT Programme develops a framework for standards and regulations.

Public-private partnership: The SIGHT Programme facilitates a public-private partnership framework for research and development (R&D).

Skill development: The SIGHT Programme undertakes a coordinated skill development program.

Ease of doing business: The SIGHT Programme aims to simplify processes and expedite approvals to make it easier to do business.

The SIGHT Programme is a major financial measure under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, which has an outlay of ₹19,744 crore up to FY 2029-30. The Union Cabinet initiated the National Green Hydrogen Mission on January 4, 2022. The mission's goal is to achieve a targeted production capacity of 5 million tonnes per annum of green hydrogen by 2030.
