The Machilipatnam Greenfield Port is transitioning into a modern, deep-sea trading gateway under a project executed by the MEIL Group. Spanning nearly 2,000 acres, it is built to reshape cargo handling and industrial growth on India's eastern coastline. [1, 2, 3]

• Phase 1 Capacity: The first phase features four shoreline-parallel berths designed to handle 35 million tonnes of cargo annually. [1, 2]
• Coastal Safeguards: Construction features a massive 2,075-meter South Breakwater and a 250-meter North Breakwater. These are reinforced with tens of thousands of heavy tetrapods to keep the harbor safe from severe ocean forces. [1, 2]
• Soil Stabilization: Over one crore pre-fabricated vertical drains have been laid to reinforce and stabilize the soft, coastal soil for heavy infrastructure. [1]
