Parliament Question: - E-waste processing management

Ministry has comprehensively revised the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 and notified the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 in November, 2022 and the same is in force since 1st April, 2023. The state wise numbers of registered recyclers since the implementation of the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 is given below
Under the E-waste Management Rules, 2022, there is no provision for allocation of funds for the manufacturing and maintenance of these processing units.
