Multiple types of electricity

 There are multiple types of electricity, including:

Static electricity

This is caused by an imbalance of positive and negative charges in an object. It can be generated by rubbing two or more objects together, which creates friction. 

Current electricity

This is the flow of electrons through a conductor, usually in the form of direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC). 

Dynamic electricity

This involves the movement of electrons through a closed circuit. 

Electromagnetic energy

This is the energy of waves that propagate through an electromagnetic field. Examples include the waves emitted by X-rays or microwave ovens.

Direct current (DC)

Electrons flow in a single direction, from the negative to the positive pole. DC is commonly used in batteries and portable electronic devices.

Alternating current (AC)

Electrons change periodically and do not flow in a single direction. AC is the most common type of electricity used in homes and industry because it is more efficient for transmitting electricity over long distances.
