Thermal Power Plant Actually Work?

Thermal Power Plant Actually Work?

🏭⚡
Ever wondered how turning on a light switch connects all the way back to a power station? This detailed diagram breaks down the step-by-step engineering marvel of a Thermal Power Plant!
Here is exactly what’s happening in this process:
• Fuel Preparation: Coal starts in the Coal Yard, travels up the Coal Conveyor, goes into the Coal Bunker, and is crushed into fine powder by the Coal Pulverizer for efficient burning.
• Heat Generation: The powder burns inside the massive Boiler (Furnace), generating extreme heat. Hot Flue Gas is filtered and safely released via the Chimney.
• Steam Generation & Power: The heat turns water inside the boiler tubes into high-pressure Steam, which rushes out to spin the heavy blades of the Steam Turbine.
• Electricity Creation: The mechanical spinning of the turbine drives the Generator, which converts that motion into electricity. The Transformer increases the voltage so it can travel efficiently across Transmission Lines right to the grid!
• The Cooling Cycle: Used Exhaust Steam drops into the Condenser, where it is cooled back into liquid water using Cooling Water pumped to and from the iconic Cooling Tower. The high-pressure Feedwater Pump then pushes that water right back into the boiler to start the cycle all over again!
