The agreement was exchanged between Mr. Anil Kumar Chalamalasetty, Founder & Group Chairman, AM Green, and Mr. Michael Lewis, CEO, Uniper, in the presence of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and the German Chancellor, H.E. Friedrich Merz, marking a significant milestone in India–Europe clean energy cooperation.

This partnership was welcomed by the Leaders as one of the largest offtake agreements under India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission, underscoring the strong momentum in advancing Indian-produced Green Ammonia for global markets.

This landmark agreement establishes India's First and One of the Globes few large-scale Green Ammonia supply corridors to Europe, supporting the decarbonization of hard-to-abate sectors and advancing India’s ambition to become a leading global exporter of Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia.
