🚨 NEAR MISS – A WARNING BEFORE AN ACCIDENT! ⚠️

A Near Miss is an unplanned event that could have caused injury, illness, property damage, or environmental harm, but fortunately did not.

🔹 Examples of Near Miss:

✅ Tools falling from height without hitting anyone.

✅ A forklift nearly hitting a worker.

✅ A worker slipping without getting injured.

✅ A gas leak detected before causing harm.

Why Should We Report Near Misses?

🔸 Identify hazards before an accident occurs.

🔸 Prevent injuries and save lives.

🔸 Improve safety procedures and working conditions.

🔸 Build a strong safety culture.

What Should You Do?

✔ Stop the unsafe activity if necessary and safe to do so.

✔ Inform your supervisor or HSE department immediately.

✔ Support the investigation and corrective actions.

✔ Never ignore or hide a near miss.

⚠️ Remember: A near miss is a free warning. Learn from it before it becomes an accident!
